Not Strangers.

Just Not Introduced Yet.

A referral-only community bringing friends of friends together through curated tables in London.

Who We Are

Casa Rasa is a referral-only community in London built around one simple idea:

The best new connections happen through people you already trust.

We bring together friends of friends through small tables and curated gatherings across the city. Every guest is introduced through someone they trust, making it easy to meet people you’re already connected to — just not introduced yet.

You could call it intentional serendipity.

This isn’t networking.
It isn’t a dating app.
And it’s never a room full of strangers.

It’s connection, done differently.

The Idea

Make your connections more intentional.

There’s a theory that we’re all only six degrees apart, but the most meaningful connections happen much closer than that.

At a friend’s birthday.
At their wedding.
At their house party.

“Wait…how do you know them? What a small world.”

Sometimes it feels like coincidence—like the stars aligning. It’s kismet.

In reality, those moments begin with something simpler: one trusted introduction.

Casa Rasa formalises what already works in real life — the friend-of-a-friend connection — and gives it a setting. A place to meet your mutuals.

Often, it starts with a table.

You’re not six degrees apart.
You’re one trusted introduction away.

How it works

Membership

Each quarter, the founding membership rate is £149 and includes:

  • Two Casa Rasa Tables — intimate dinners for a minimum of six guests, hosted in founding members' homes across London. Food and drinks are included.

  • One Guest Pass — invite someone from your own circle to join a table with you as your introduction to the community. If they enjoy the experience, they can join Casa Rasa as a member.

  • One Seasonal Table — a larger quarterly gathering at a London restaurant, bringing the wider Casa Rasa circle together. Your guest included.

Take a Seat

Once your membership is confirmed, we check your availability and curate your table around real connections.

You’ll receive a personal invitation with two dates to choose from. You’ll always know at least one person — while meeting others across the Casa Rasa circle.

Hosting

Members may attend as part of a table or choose to host in their own home.

Hosts simply open their space and Casa Rasa covers the food and drinks. Meals may be prepared by the host or arranged by Casa Rasa through catering or a private chef.

Each table is co-curated by Casa Rasa and the host, from the menu to the guest list.

Referrals & Incentive

If your guest attends a Casa Rasa Table and then becomes a paying member, you’ll receive a complimentary seat during their first quarter.

New members are seated with at least one familiar face, often the person who introduced them, so you may be invited back even if your membership is paused.

This allows you to attend together and maintains the connection the introduction was built on.

You always know someone — but never everyone.

Automatic renewal not required. Unused tables roll over to the following quarter, and you can always pause for a quarter without losing them. [Full membership terms ↗]

Why I Started Casa Rasa

I grew up in Houston within a Lebanese household where hospitality was an art form. My mom had a natural gift for curation — not just of delicious food and tablescapes, but of people. Watching her and my dad transform a room into a setting for connection left a permanent mark on how I view community.

After university, I moved to New York knowing almost no one. My circle grew slowly and deliberately through introductions, dinner partiess, and gatherings that became lasting friendships. It was proof that the right connections don't need luck; they need intention.

My career has been defined by this same pursuit of intentionality. During the early years at Bumble, I saw firsthand how technology could scale human connection, provided it was built on a foundation of trust and safety. It confirmed what I've always known: the most meaningful connections rarely happen by accident.

When I moved to London in 2023, I experienced that reset again. A new city, a small starting circle, and the familiar process of expanding it one introduction at a time. I founded Casa Rasa to give that process a home. The name is a tribute to "Rasarusa" — a family acronym my mom created from my siblings' names. Casa Rasa is the evolution of that spirit: a setting designed for the culturally curious, where the guest list is considered, the table is intimate, and the introductions are always intentional. The six-pointed star, orbited by six more, is a table set for connection and a quiet nod to the theory that we are not as far apart as we think."
